The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is a signature OKC event bringing together athletes and spectators from all over the world to honor those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever by the tragic events of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. The course begins at the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum and winds through downtown, Bricktown, past the State Capitol, through northeast Oklahoma City and through some of the city’s most beautiful and historic neighborhoods. Crowds of spectators line the course to cheer on runners. And along the way, 168 banners — each bearing the name of one of those killed in the Oklahoma City bombing The 2024 race is on Sunday, April 28th. Festival of the Arts takes place at Bicentennial Park in downtown Oklahoma City from April 25 – 28, 2024. The event stretches from Lee Ave east to City Hall, and from Colcord north to Couch Drive. The Festival includes visual artwork by over 144 artists, food booths providing high quality gourmet delights, 4 stages with over 1,000 performing artists, and interactive educational activities.
