Chicago is served by two major airports: O'Hare (ORD aka Mary Grace's second home) and Midway (MDW). Both are good options and a quick car or train ("The L") ride away from all hotel and rental suggestions.

If off-beat, modern art is your thing, this is the place for you! There are multiple galleries throughout the hotel, conveniently located steps away from Chicago's Magnificent Mile (Michigan Avenue). Please note if you would like to take advantage of our block rate ($189/night), booking must occur prior to July 1 using the link below. Fun Fact: This hotel is right around the corner from the Starbucks Roastery Reserve of which there are only six in the world! If you plan to visit, we recommend getting there early as there is often a long line.

Shuttle Services

August 10, 2024 4:30 pm - 11:30 pm

You may utilize rideshare or drive yourself to Elawa Farm. If you plan to drive, you must park in a nearby lot (address below) and take our provided shuttle to Elawa Farm. St. James Lutheran Church 1380 N Waukegan Rd Lake Forest, IL 60045 Shuttle service between the nearby lot and Elawa Farm will begin at 4:30pm and run until 11:30pm. Cocktail hour begins at 5:00pm. As much as we hate to think so, the night will have to end eventually. For guests who drove, the shuttle will take you from Elawa Farm back to your cars in the St. James lot. For guests returning downtown, a bus will be provided. The bus will pick up guests directly at Elawa Farm at the conclusion of our reception and stop at both the Ambassador Hotel and the 21c Museum Hotel.
