We're getting married!

In March of 2019, Karen Ruiz and Deny Gallagher were introduced by two friends in Philadelphia. The setup had been a long time coming after the first attempt at a T-Pain concert in Atlantic City never happened. A month and a half later, the 22-year-old, in her last semester of graduate school at the University of Scranton met the 25-year-old sports media professional (that her aunt upon meeting compared aesthetically to a young Jude Law) and the spark was instantaneous. A date turned into days, turned into weekends spent in each other’s company. The two moved in together in Jersey City, New Jersey at the start of the Pandemic in 2020, and still reside there today. The couple is excited to return to Portugal to formalize their everlasting love.
