We have known each other since the 2nd grade and we both went to the same school until we graduated high school in 2016. We were always great friends all the way until we graduated high school. Jack asked Kelsie on a date right before their high school graduation. After that first date, the rest is history. We both graduated from FSU together after four years in May of 2020 and Jack commissioned into the US Army. After being long-distance for almost a year when Jack went to his training after graduation, then deploying to South Korea, we are looking forward to the rest of our lives. We love to watch movies together, eat good food, and hang out with friends. We have one baby right now and his name is Kale (he is also a cat). We look forward to finally celebrating our love with you!
Jack came home for two weeks from his Army training before getting deployed. We always try to make the most out of his trips home. He told Kelsie that he wanted to go to brunch with some of our friends while he was here. Before brunch he wanted to take a walk on FSU's campus. We used to love to take walks on campus, especially after COVID ended our last semester. Now, this was in early February and it was cold. Because of this, Kelsie knew something was up. They walked up to Ruby Diamond Theater and Jack said he wanted to take a picture of Kelsie in front of Wescott Fountain. As she stood there, Jack got down on one knee and proposed. After she said yes, all of our friends and family came out from behind the bushes. It was the best surprise.
