Camp Maple Lake

Our wedding guests are welcome to have fun at beautiful Camp Maple Lake ALL weekend! This includes canoeing and fishing on the lake as well as swimming in the pool. Relax with a book by the lake or string up your hammock. You can play volleyball, gaga ball, corn hole, the frisbee game, stump, and more! There are sure to be campfires and s'mores each evening so BYOB and come spend some quality time with the bride and groom.

Worlds End State Park

Our local state park has lots of amazing hikes with waterfalls and beautiful vistas, as well as great places to swim in the Loyalsock Creek. We recommend the Double Run Nature Trail for a shorter hike and the Cold Run loop off the Canyon Vista Trail for a longer one. You don't want to miss High Knob Overlook or the Loyalsock Canyon Vista (both of which you can drive to).

Forksville General Store & Restaurant

The Forksville General Store is our favorite restaurant. The historic building has great seating right along the creek with a view of the covered bridge. Great place to grab a hoagie or one of Big Mike's famous cheesesteaks!

Mary Beth's Westside Deli

Another favorite restaurant in nearby Dushore... home of the only red light in Sullivan County! Jake loves the burgers and Meredith recommends the salads and ice cream!

Forksville Inn & Tavern

Our go to place for dinner and drinks!

McCarty Mercantile

Formerly the historic Hillsgrove General Store this place has the best breakfast sandwiches, lunch, and dinner.

Becky's (Sunset) Ice Cream & Barnyard Mini Golf

Great place for a sweet treat and a competitive round of miniature golf!

Open for delicious breakfast and lunch! Also stop in here to buy your Sullivan County souvenir t-shirt!
