We're so excited to celebrate with you this Saturday, October 12th, and wanted to remind you of the details for our relaxed, come-and-go celebration. No need to arrive right at 6:00 PM—drop by anytime between 6:00 PM and 10:15 PM to join the fun! We'll have pizza from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, a cash bar throughout the evening, plus music, desserts, and games to enjoy. It’s going to be a laid-back evening with plenty of good vibes, so we can’t wait to see you! Dear Friends and Family, We are excited to announce that we, Meranda and Connor, are getting married at New York City Hall with our parents and siblings as witnesses. While our ceremony will be intimate, we would love to celebrate this special occasion with all of you who have been a part of our journey. We are thrilled to invite you to a reception a few days after our wedding, October 12, 2024. This is our way of sharing our joy and gratitude with you. There is no pressure to attend! Your presence would mean the world to us as we cherish the memories and connections that have shaped our journey together. It all started freshman year of college. Meranda and her roommate were headed out to see the northern lights when their friends decided to join another group. That’s when Connor came into the picture, introducing himself as “Coba.” Meranda was instantly intrigued. Although they were only freshmen, Meranda couldn’t help but point out “Coba” to her friends every time she saw him, whispering, “Hey, there goes my future husband.” Connor, however, remained oblivious, and her friends would laugh, saying, “In your dreams!” Fast forward to senior year. Meranda and Connor matched on Tinder (we're being honest here!). She discovered that “Coba” was actually Connor from Connecticut. From that moment on, "Connor from Connecticut" fell for Meranda, and the rest is history.

We thought our story would end after college, fearing a long-distance relationship from Michigan to Connecticut would be too difficult. Connor was headed to culinary school, and Meranda was uncertain about her post-graduation plans. Our plan was to drive Connor back to Connecticut, say our goodbyes, and part ways. But once in Connecticut, Connor's family invited Meranda to stay while he moved to Boston for school. During this time, Meranda became best friends with Connor's mom, Mary Ellen, working as her park and recreation aide, and fell in love with Connor's hometown. Though Connor and Meranda had only been dating for three months, they decided to backpack through Europe for a month. After this adventure, they packed up a car and moved to Oregon, all within a year of dating. Then COVID happened. Connor, who had planned on becoming a chef, switched careers. Together, they got a cat, camped, traveled, and eventually moved back to CT to their favorite small town. Our journey has been anything but ordinary, and we can't wait to celebrate the next chapter with you!
