Here are a few questions we thought you might ask!

this is just a heads up to all our guests

Answer

We will be having "video dedications" recorded by our videographer throughout the event. We would love to hear all the advice you have to give us as we begin our journey together, or perhaps a simple congratulations if thats more your style.

Are masks mandatory?

Answer

Due to the current status of the virus we think it best that masks be worn by all guests for the ceremony, (save the members of the wedding party who will be standing up front) given it will be an indoor wedding. However, we know it will be impossible to require such measures during the dinner, but we will do our best to make sure all enjoy themselves and remain safe! *this information may be prone to change, we will do our best to keep it up to date!

Can I bring a Date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. We know that the current global pandemic may deter a few from joining us in merriment. Please know that we will not be angry... as long as you send us a cardboard cutout of yourself for pictures. ;)

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

Yes! Absolutely!! As long as they are yours and on the invitation! :)

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

It's FREE! There is parking available in front of the gate, we are saving the parking behind the gate for our more elderly guests!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

They will both be at the Castle!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Indoors! We will be safe from weather and bugs!

What to do after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests will promptly be served hors d'oeuvre followed by a formal sit down meal.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #waltondowntheaisle so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
