It started with ultimate frisbee. And a dating app. A courageous message from Hannah led to first date gaffes by Jacob. Yet, we shared key values: working with children, Judaism, sports, music, humor. So, Hannah's roommate said 'stick with it', and she did. We went to our first Nuggets game (Jokic!) and concert (Big Freedia!) together, and started to meet each other's friends and family. As 2018 turned into 2019, a deep friendship came to underly our evolving relationship. We skied in Jackson Hole and Steamboat, camped in the Sand Dunes, and adventured to Telluride. In Telluride, we spent 10 days hiking, dancing, partying, and laughing. Hannah’s initiative and Jacob’s goofiness could clearly complement each other. After that, things got serious. We went to friends’ weddings, and wondered “what if?”. Hannah introduced Jacob to The Dead, and Jacob showed Hannah her first action movie. Sparrow eagerly welcomed Jacob into the family with every table scrap Jacob “dropped". The days brought us closer and closer together, along with ever greater gratitude for our partnership. In March of 2020, we moved in together, and in June of 2020, we got engaged in Crested Butte! Now, the next chapter in our story starts alongside you… in Estes Park on August 22, 2021.
