The night that we got engaged, it was world youth day in Lisbon, Portugal with Pope Francis, it was after midnight, It was my first time in world youth day and being so close to pope Francis. It being my first time going to see the Pope was very beautiful. After the pope's was done with his speech, us with some friends went to walk around to dance and have fun, coming back to our camp sit, standing watching a commercial I was facing the tv and Juan starts asking me some questions and than turns me around and says to me "I know this is not the best time but I want to spent the rest of my life with you, will you marry me?" I said, "YES," and everyone that was around us was shouting "OMG, YAY, VIVA EL AMOR" and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you and with god by our side.
