A Bronx native favorite, we have been here many times. Great food and great place to kick back, eat, drink, and relax. Take the Bruckner Expressway north to the New England Thruway (I-95 North) to exit 8B ” Orchard Beach/ City Island, Follow signs through Pelham Bay Park to City Island.
Bronx Botanical Garden
Neat fact: NYBG is one of the top two freestanding botanical gardens in the world where plant and fungal research is conducted.
Statue City Cruises Battery Park/ Liberty Island
Visiting Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty is an inspiring, striking experience. As dual symbols of freedom and hope, these incredible monuments and their museums give proof to the story of immigration and recognize the human spirit of our nation's ideals. Very much worth it to visit.
