Our wedding is at an amazing out door venue inside of a very big white tent. We will be outside the entire time, so make sure to dress comfortable and classy. It will be October so light jackets are also advised.
We are currently working on renting a shuttle that will go from downtown Madison to the Prevailing Winds Lodge. We are currently looking into the route the shuttle will be taking and might have it stop at some of the hotels as well!
We will be serving small baked goods and a spread of some of Wisconsin's best charcuterie accompanied with home made jams and jelly. For dinner we will be serving up a large family style of a bunch of our favorite foods. With a fun mix of Latin inspired dishes blending with southern bar-b-que flavors. Items such as slow roasted pork, barbacoa beef, pollo a la brasa , homestyle mac n cheese, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, rice and beans, potato salad, sweet plantains, sweet rolls, and much more.
Yes. We will be serving wine, beer and a few batch cocktails as well.
We absolutely hope so! As we find out more information about days that everyone is in town we plan to put more fun large group activities together in the days surrounding our wedding. We will also be hosting a brunch at the Prevailing Winds Lodge the on the Sunday after the wedding. We hope to plan a large group activity for Friday as well once we see how many people will be in town by then.
