We met at work, Mychael had just started, Melissa had been there about a year. On Mychael’s first day in typical Mychael fashion he was not shy and was very talkative, EXCEPT when it came to answering the phone. He did not want to be on the phone talking to people, so Melissa challenged him that she could beat him to answer the phone. Mychael as we all know is way to competitive to let anyone beat him in anything. From there over time Mychael slowly began to earn enough of Melissas trust through work and her instagram DM’s to get his first date. And from there the rest is history…..

Shortly after Mykah’s birth, Mychael had taken some time to think about the future and how it is not promised to any of us. He knew at that point Melissa would be in his life forever and wanted to make her his wife. It was a very hard year for them and thought maybe this could help get them through the months to come of a lot of hospital staying, and learning as Mykah came home to make our family complete……for the time being until of course they were surprised with Elijah too.
