Josh and Melissa met in early summer of 2013. When Melissa was working at chipotle, she met Josh’s sister Janae who suggested we hangout. Once we hung out for the first time we just clicked with so many common interests, such as music, hobbies and both being being left handed. We eventually went on a few dates and couldn’t get enough of each other; by the end of 2013 summer we were a couple 💗. Over a year of being together, sadly Melissa had to move to Texas, this was going to test our relationship. Throughout the six and a half years of being in a long distance relationship, that time apart only made our love stronger for one another. Throughout those years we would fly back and forth to one another, never missing a day without talking to one another as if we never left each other side. It wasn’t easy at first, especially saying goodbye at the airport, but we never gave up on how much we loved each other. During those years, we would always be on a new adventure: weather it was hiking, camping or just hanging out in town. The long distance showed us what true love was. Then, In 2020 Josh moved to Texas for almost a year, ending the long distance then we both decided to move back to Cali to find our own place in late 2021. In early 2023 Josh proposed to Melissa in a beautiful snowy setting in Arnold, CA. Now, we’re expecting our little boy soon and can’t wait to call each other husband and wife this year 💗
