It was the day after my 35th birthday when we met. August 8, 2010 to be exact. We met at the Executive diner for a quick little chat and some coffee. We dated almost 5 years before we got engaged in New Orleans. The planning started immediately..... Then a big surprise-Douglas! Even though we got married intimately just him and I, we always knew that one day we would have the wedding of our dreams....and that day has finally come!!

In 2015, on a beautiful April evening in New Orleans he proposed on the Mississippi River! I was SHOCKED!
