The first time we spoke was online, like most other couples these days. Melissa messaged Shawn complimenting him about what he wrote in his bio and he said he was incredibly sceptical and Melissa was so ready to find that person for her. Shawn stated at that time he had no intention of dating anyone and in a way he made that clear by setting the bar what he thought was ridiculously high based on the class of woman he had been accustomed to. It turns out Melissa not only met the requirements but appreciated that they were things he not only expect but was open about wanting. Shawn also met all of Melissa's expectations! We agreed to meet each other and learned we grew up near each other, have very similar beliefs on family, both served in the Army. We even worked for the same company for a short period but never met. It didnt take long before Shawn went from not wanting to date anyone to realizing that he NEEDED to marry Melissa. On June 1, 2019 Shawn said he would be able to say " I'm the luckiest man I know because I'll have the perfect bride" and I couldn't be happier and Melissa will have the perfect Husband who knows her so well! We were ment to be!
