One of Minneapolis/Saint Paul's many beautiful parks, this one features tons of enjoyable walking paths along the river, a delicious outdoor seafood restaurant and a stunning waterfall.
Lake Harriet
We both have loved walking around this lake for many years, it has beautiful walking paths, a rose garden, a band shell where you might catch a live band concert, and is in a neighborhood that is full of fun shops and restaurants.
Sotarol Asian Kitchen
If you've never tried a sushi burrito (or are just in the mood for sushi, poke, or teryaki bowl), check this place out! Austin can put away at least two California crunch burritos each time we go.

If you are in the mood for shopping (no sales tax for the South Dakota friends and family!) you NEED to go here! The closest outlet mall to our venue, full of amazing stores such as Nike, Gap, Adidas, and Old Navy, and has tons of parking and outdoor areas. This is a must stop place when Melinda has visitors
