Melanie and Jeffrey matched on Tinder while Melanie was home on spring break in her senior year of college. It was only a matter of moments before the two began talking as if they had known each other forever, a matter of moments before the two bonded over their love for the New York Mets and a matter of moments before Jeffrey asked Melanie on a date, despite their adoration for rivaling hockey teams. Unfortunately, Jeffrey would soon find out that Melanie would be taking a flight to Florida the next morning. Melanie expressed her regret however this feeling of regret soon turned to butterflies when Jeffrey surprised Melanie by responding, "I'll wait for you." ...and wait for her he did. Jeffrey waited for Melanie through vacations, graduation and two incidents which led to Jeffrey being the first and last man Melanie had ever "ghosted." In August of 2019, Melanie realized losing Jeffrey was most definitely the biggest mistake of her life. This realization sent Melanie desperately, apologetically and hopelessly crawling back to Jeffrey. For those of you who know Melanie, you can imagine how big of a deal this was because admitting she is wrong does not come easily or happen often! Jeffrey had already planned a date for the very same night Melanie had asked to meet but he canceled it and went to meet Melanie instead. Since August 16th, 2019, the night when Jeffrey broke the heart of another to heal Melanie's, the two have been absolutely inseparable. Both Melanie and Jeffrey quickly realized that they had been waiting and praying for each other their entire lives. Melanie and Jeffrey have filled their time together with countless Chipotle dates, Mets games, football Sundays and Disney jam sessions. On June 6th, 2022, the happy couple pledged to spend the rest of forever doing their favorite things, together. Melanie and Jeffrey are so beyond excited to create one family out of two and want to emphasize that they would not be here without the love and support given steadily and unconditionally from all of you.
