It was a Tuesday at Novy, a Noe Valley wine bar; a safe half-way spot for a guy living in the Mission and a girl living in Twin Peaks. Melanie did all of the talking. She even made an incredibly embarrassing comment about her "words per minute". Needless to say, she was very shocked when Max asked her to dinner on Sunday.
3 months into quarantine, 2 months after we moved into our new home in Centennial, CO and 1 month after we rescued our pup Milo, Max kept our plate full and hearts happy with a proposal! Max asked Melanie as the two of them sat down to enjoy drinks on their new backyard patio.
In April 2020, Max and Melanie moved from San Francisco, CA to Centennial, CO. They are thrilled to be closer to family, the mountains and are enjoying so much that Colorado has to offer. They purchased their first house, and have successfully completed a number of renovations as they work to make it a home. Finally in May, they rescued Milo, a now 3 year old German Shorthair Pointer (GSP), and in November, started fostering Murphy a 6 month old GSP. Milo and Murphy have brought lots of laughter, chaos and love into their home.
