Due to our friends' busy schedules we ended up on a city trip together to renew my library card. We went to the library, had ramen and fro-yo, strolled through central park and talked for a while at Paley Park. Dav even got to tell a complete stranger it wasn't a date, but we kept hanging out every week ever since…

At this point Dav and I had already been hanging out every weekend for a few weeks but no one really knew about it. That was until he brought a strawberry from his garden to a pool party at the Kelly's and gave it to me, then everyone just knew there was something going on…

On the anniversary of our first "date", we went to the city to reminisce that first trip. The day went like so: we visited a pug meet-up at the West 72nd Street Dog Run and befriended a pug from Germany and her owner, had the best tacos in NYC for lunch (Los Tacos No. 1), and strolled through Central Park. The plan was to head to Paley Park - a quiet, private park - at the end of our Central Park walk to relax, but it was closed for construction! Davin insisted we sit in some sort of park, and found a new place pretty quickly. But it was not quite a time to relax. He ended up proposing to me at 550 Madison Public Park, where our friends Zani and Duwayne were in the shadows taking photos, and our other friends Logan and Maelani later met up to celebrate over dinner. We're so excited to celebrate this new chapter in our lives with you!
