How We Got HereHow We Got Here

#GoingForGolden

Seth and Meghan first met in August 2019 when Meghan hosted a get-together for their law school class in Macon, Georgia. Conversation soon sparked up when Seth learned Meghan went to John Milledge for high school - which Seth use to play baseball, football, and track against for Valwood. Meghan then made the connection with Seth that two of her sisters grew up right outside of Seth's hometown, Valdosta, Georgia. When classes started that next week, the two were assigned to the same section and took all of their classes together for their entire first year of law school. Naturally, the two became the best of friends. However in February 2020, while on a group trip to Gatlinburg the two started to realize there was possibly more there. Shortly thereafter, law school went fully remote due to the pandemic. Meghan went to her mother's house in Saint Simons, and Seth went to his family's home on the island as well with several other friends. Over the course of those three months, the two became inseparable as everyone continued to ask whether they were truly "just friends." Finally, in May 2020 Seth told Meghan he "kind of has had a crush on her for several months" (almost like she's memorized that, right?) and the two began dating. Between outlining for exams, studying for the bar, first jobs, big moves, getting a dog, and so much more - Seth and Meghan have grown together in each chapter of their lives. On October 4, 2024, Seth surprised Meghan with a trip back to their favorite little town where it all began - Saint Simons Island. Before going to dinner, Seth took Meghan for a walk on the beach in front of the King and Prince and popped the question! After spending the whole weekend there celebrating with friends and family, they knew there was no better spot than the Golden Isles for the Golden Wedding!
