Click the “RSVP” tab and you’ll be prompted from there. Please RSVP by April 13th.
Friday evening activities are cocktail casual. The wedding and reception on Saturday are summer cocktail attire; this means gentlemen in jacket and tie or suit, and ladies in short or long cocktail dresses. Keep in mind that weather in May in Nashville can be much warmer than most of our guests are used to! We are hoping for 70+ days, but it could be in the 80+ range. Evenings are usually cooler.
Please be sure to review the “Travel” section of the site for more information on the two hotel blocks we have for the weekend - JW Marriott and *The Thompson. Please note, The Thompson hotel block will expire on May 10, so please book now! To book at the Thompson, you must please email Emily Swift (emily.swift@thompsonhotels.com) or Malia Temple (malia.temple@thompsonhotels.com). *Fun fact: Our first date was at the Marsh House, a bar at the Thompson Hotel.
We expect the Ceremony to end around 1:30pm. Review “Meghan & Owen’s Favorites” for different ideas on what to do in between. A 2pm brunch reservation could be great but don’t eat too much - hors d'oeuvres at the Reception begin at 5!
We are still ironing out the details of transportation to/from the weekend’s events. We will update this once we have.
Yes to both - with lots of availability. On the weekends, we tend to have better luck with Lyft. Nashville is a relatively small city, so we rarely ever travel more than 15 minutes by car.
Yes, however, space is limited so we recommend Uber/Lyft for our Nashville guests.
The reception will end at 10pm and we have a section reserved at a casual bar called Neighbors in the Gulch. It is less than a block away from The Thompson Hotel. Entrance to it is clear and expedited with mention of “the wedding party.”
None of the weekend’s planned events are on Broadway. Both hotels are walking distance to Broadway (JW Marriott being a bit closer) so if you want to explore it at other times in the weekend, it will be an easy walk/Uber/Lyft.
Nashville locals joke that you can always tell who the tourists are because they’re in a cowboy hat and/or boots. No cowboy boots or cowboy hats needed!
