How do we get to Benedict Haid Farm?

Answer

Take I-79 North out of Charleston. Take Exit 5 (Big Chimney), then go right at end of the ramp towards Big Chimney on Rt. 114. Go ½ mile on Rt. 114 passing through 4-way stop at Hardees to a “T” at a stop light. At the stoplight, take a left at the “T” towards Pinch on Indian Creek Road. Stay on Indian Creek Road for 3.6 miles to a Y intersection at Husson’s Pizza and Dollar General and turn right onto Quick Road (unmarked). Stay on Quick Road for 7 miles to the little town of Quick. Continue on Quick Road past Quick for a mile or so to the intersection of Dutch Ridge Road (clearly marked). Take the left onto Dutch Ridge Road and check your odometer. Stay on Dutch Ridge Road (be careful not to turn off) for exactly 3 miles to the Benedict Haid Farm and Benedict Haid Road signs. Turn right at Farm sign onto Benedict Haid Road. Drive 50 yards straight ahead to the Haid House.
