Where can I park near the Shinola Hotel?

Answer

Valet parking is available for $45 at the Shinola Hotel. OR the Z garage parking structure is located around the corner on E Grand River Ave between Farmer St. and Broadway. OR meter parking is also free on the streets throughout Downtown on Sundays but it will be difficult to find spaces with the Detroit Jazz Fest and the Detroit Tigers playing at 6:10pm Saturday and 1:40pm Sunday.

The Shinola Hotel event space entrance is located at 1435 Farmer Street.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-tie optional. We're excited to get dressed up and we hope you are too! Tuxedos, formal suits, gowns and formal cocktail dresses are all welcome.

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we thought you could use a night off! This will be an adults only celebration.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation includes the name of your significant other or “and guest,” then you are welcome to bring a guest. Due to space constraints at our venue, we are regrettably unable to extend invitations for additional plus ones.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We ask that guests please refrain from taking photos during the wedding ceremony.
