You can fly into the Florence Airport ("FLR") just outside the city, known to locals as "Peretola". From there you can rent a car and drive the 50 minutes to Monteriggioni.

You can fly into Pisa International Airport (PSA), also named Galileo Galilei Airport. From there you can rent a car and drive 1 hour and 21 minutes to Monteriggioni.

ROME

(less convenient, but flights seem to be more affordable ) You can fly into Rome and take a train from Rome to Siena. You can then rent a car in Siena to drive around Tuscany.

Rental Car Recommended

We highly recommend renting a car to travel in Tuscany. There is no uber service in Tuscany. It is fun to explore different villages and vineyards of the Chianti region and having a car is the way you can do this! Ex: There are multiple car rental services at the Florence airport.
