We’re excited to share some of our favorite places in and around town with you! We also want to share some history about our venue. The Historical Society of Princeton headquarters, Updike Farmstead, is listed on the State and National Register of Historic Places and lies within the Princeton Battlefield/Stony Brook Historic District. The farmhouse museum houses the largest collection of Albert Einstein belongings in the world. Updike was home to Lenape Native Americans, Quaker settlers, and family farmers. It bore silent witness to thousands of years of Princeton history, including George Washington and his Army marching past en route to the Battle of Princeton. In 2014, Princeton made a great decision to add a crushed gravel path along Quaker Rd, making a road that was previously too dangerous accessible for our soft surface runs and gravel rides. We have since ran & rode by Updike hundreds of times, and encourage our guests to walk, run, or ride our “Quaker loop” while in town!

Can’t make recommendations without adding this. :) While we don’t work here anymore, chances are you’ll recognize some of our contributions to this space (as long as it hasn’t been completely renovated by September). Stop in for some nutrition to fuel your weekend adventures on the local trails or treat yourself to new running shoes.
