Maid of Honor
Kristen. Maid of Honor. Meghan cannot imagine a life without Kristen, literally, they met when Meghan was born. Meghan spent many of her formidable years being dragged around various activities for myself and Doug, it’s only fair we are required to attend this one for Meghan. In all seriousness, Meghan and I are best friends now that we are adults and don't share a room.
Best Man
I am Alex's older brother and co-creator of hundreds of backyard games growing up. I currently reside in the Hudson Valley where I like to take long walks, go to concerts, and try every strange menu item I can find.
Bridesmaid
I met Meghan when I started dating her older brother Doug 18 years ago. I am also the mother of the ring bearer and flower girl. There are too many memories to share just one but there is always much laughter that comes with the time we spend together.
Groomsman
Douglas is Meghan's favorite older brother. Doug is the wind beneath her wings, or so he said when she asked him to write his own bio.
Bridesmaid
I am Meghan's soon to be sister in law and fellow short person. Meghan and I met in middle school during musical when we both were part of the dance ensemble as cooks. We used to play JV volleyball together and would use our dance training to gracefully dive for the ball. Meghan and I became closer when I started dating Nick again, and now we are the best of friends. I can't wait to be a part of Meghan and Alex's special day, the rest of their lives, and to have her as my sister!
Groomsman
I'm the favorite child of the Doyle Family. I'm also the younger brother of the bride, and fiance to Nicole. Meghan is considered very lucky to have known me for my whole life. As an insider, I have been able to give Meghan healthy competition since birth but is extremely happy to watch Meghan and Alex have a wedding first so that I know what not to do. Other than all of that, I am extremely honored to be standing on Alex's side as a friend and soon to be brother, and is in full support of the beautiful & love filled future that we all already recognize in their relationship. I'm already crying...
Bridesmaid
Meghan and I quickly became close friends after becoming teammates on an adult league soccer team. We enjoy a variety of activities together; from lazy nights over a few boxes of pizza to early morning runs together. We have been attached at the hip ever since!
Groomsman
This is going to be a Saturday in June and we are not on a golf course; this must be pretty important. There's no friends like the old ones. They used to call us dogs in Sunday school and we've been through some dog years in our lives.
Bridesmaid
I met the blushing bride to be when Meghan entered the glamorous world of corporate call centers. I was assigned Meghan as a mentee which is when our friendship first began. It's amazing how de-escalating irate clients can bring people together. We bonded over our shared faith and love for animated movies, musical theater, and fantasy books. Eventually, we developed a love/hate relationship with running. I try not to die when keeping up with Meghan on our shared runs.
Groomsman
Alex has played a key role in my life since grade school. We were constantly mistaken for twins and became more like brothers rather than friends. I can't think of anyone that knows what's going on in my head better than old Felix (can be a little weird and scary). I don't think most people get to have a friendship like ours in a lifetime, for that I am truly thankful. If you know Alex, he knows exactly what he wants and how he wants it. When I heard he was dating someone, I was happy for him. I asked how everything was going and he was quick to mention that he had found the one he was ready to marry. When I met Meghan, a sweet, kind hearted, fun person, I could see why he had been so direct with his choice. I am really excited to celebrate their wedding and the good times to follow!
Groomsman
Alex has been one of my closest friends since my first day at Kiski Prep. From living in the same dorm, to sharing a football field, we always had great times, tons of laughs, and endless sports debates. I'm so happy to be a part of his and Meghan's big day!
Groomsman
Alex and I met through a mutual friend Dylan during their college years. Our friendship grew and developed through our shared love of golf and Pitt Football. We've been enjoying both for many years and cannot wait to include Meghan and create many more memories!
Groomsman
Alex and Dylan met freshman year at Kiski Prep. There was a familiarity between them that they couldn't just figure out. Once they started to talk, they realized they both were in the Challenge program in the same school district. Their specialness has continued to grow, where they are still friends, and are even more special. They say your friends may fade over time, but they didn't account for the special ones.
Ring Bearer
Macklin, or Mac-Mac, is Meghan's 4 year old nephew and Godson. Mac is always down to watch, or play baseball and is aspiring to be in the MLB.
Flower Girl
Eva is Meghan's 6 year old niece who loves dancing, unicorns, soccer, and being silly! You'll be sure to find her busting out her dance moves on the dance floor or impersonating a southern accent.
