We met while both working customer service at a Meijer in Carmel, IN. He was getting ready to leave for the Air Force and I was finishing up my bachelors in nursing. After a few months of getting to know each other at work, he finally took up my offer to run together to help him prepare for training. Fortunately, the Air Force was taking a long time to schedule Dan's start date for officer training, so we had many amazing times running at local trails where we would talk the entire way. Dan finally worked up the courage to ask me out on a date in July 2016, where we have been inseparable since!

On my last evening in Indianapolis before moving down to Florida, Daniel and I planned a dinner with both of our families at Scotty's Brewhouse in downtown Carmel. Little did I know he planned a little surprise right before walking into the restaurant. Right next door was a beautiful courtyard, where he planned to take quick "family" pictures. At the center of the courtyard was a fountain, which was a place we had visited on our very first date. Important detail: it was 0 degrees outside and snowy by the way! It was soo COLD that I didn't even notice that our families stopped walking alongside us as we reached the courtyard! When Daniel and I reached the fountain, he changed my life forever as he got down on one knee!

Yes, Daniel and I are married! Some of you may not know that while playing a soccer game this past spring, I tore my ACL and both menisci. Because of this, we decided to tie the knot earlier than planned, and put together an amazing wedding in about two weeks with the help from amazing friends! We had a beautiful sunset beach ceremony in Destin, FL. It was a perfect, but we were missing one major component.. all of our friends and family! This is why we are having another ceremony and reception so we can celebrate this special moment with everyone, who mean so much to us.
