About a 30 minute drive inland!
Yes and no! There will be one shuttle leaving the Westin at 4pm for guests staying at the hotel to go up to the venue. There will be a shuttle leaving at 8:30 pm and 10pm going back to the Westin and one shuttle heading to downtown for a low-key after party at 10pm if you would like to take advantage of the ride! Otherwise there is plenty of ubers, lyfts, and taxis readily available in the area to take you anywhere you want to go!
Yes! There will be a large parking lot available right next to the venue if you choose to drive. Please make sure to have a DD if someone in your group chooses to drive. Otherwise, ubers and lyfts are readily available! Cars can be left overnight in the lot but we are not providing transportation to pick them up on Monday morning.
The hotel has a courtesy shuttle available to take you anywhere within a 12 mile radius for free! If you stay at the hotel, we recommend taking the shuttle to the welcome event in downtown Carlsbad but it will not take you all the way to the wedding itself. There will be a shuttle leaving at 4pm from the Westin for guests staying at the hotel to go up to the ceremony and shuttles back to the hotel at 8:30pm and at 10pm!
Yes! If you prefer a taxi to uber or lyft, here are a few companies and their phone numbers: Carlsbad West Taxi - (760) 710-7373 San Diego Yellow Cab - (619)-444-4444
Yes! LA is about an hour drive North so if it is easier to fly into LA and either uber or drive down that is another option
Not unless there are specific things you want to do. We envision guests flying into San Diego and ubering up to Carlsbad (either the hotel or airbnbs) and then taking the shuttle or walking from place to place. The only other time you would need to drive is to the ceremony, but we recommend taking an uber or lyft anyway! However, if you want to explore the greater San Diego area then a car might be useful
