Question

What is a Handfasting?

Answer

It is a Celtic wedding ceremony that traditionally includes close friends and family laying ribbon or string over the couple's clasped hands. Then the officiant will help the couple tie the knot! We chose this over a traditional ceremony as it has great significance to us and we think it will be a beautiful visual representation of our commitment and love

Question

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 7pm, we ask that everyone arrives about 15-20 minutes before so that you have time to find your seats and maybe take a photo for our guestbook!

Question

What to wear?

Answer

Our bridal party will be wearing shades of greens and purples, we ask guests to dress comfy and semi-formal. Wear whatever makes you most happy and confident we just ask you to avoid black and white dresses. It will be late June and in the evening so we are expecting it to be warm outside. Also, we ask everyone to avoid wearing perfume! Thank you :)

Question

Why a Honeymoon Fund?

Answer

We have most of the physical things we need at the moment but would love to go make some memories with our first trip together as Mrs. and Mrs.

Question

What is the food/drink situation?

Answer

We will be providing a dessert table to enjoy after our ceremony and we will have lots of nonalcoholic available!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be parking on the venue property :)

Question

smoking/drinking

Answer

Our venue is nondrinking and nonsmoking other than a designated smoking area. Please refrain from smoking and vaping outside of that area.
