FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children and originally hoped to include them, we regretfully cannot accommodate children older than 6 months and younger than 10 years old in order to limit the guest count due to COVID-19 social distancing precautions. Please limit attendance to those who will be listed on the formal invitation that will be coming shortly. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Due to COVID-19, what are you considering at this time?

Answer

In light of COVID-19, we want to let you know that our wedding is going forward with a few updates. We have had to reduce the in-person guest list due to COVID. For our in-person guests, we have safety precautions in place for both the church and reception venue, such as distanced & assigned seating arrangements, providing hand sanitation stations, wearing masks, etc. Please plan to wear your masks for all events, the exception being when you are seated & eating/drinking at your table in the reception venue. Our vendors are following safety precautions to provide dinner and drinks safely.

Question

Will Zoom live streaming be available for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we will have a livestream link available for the Wedding Mass portion at 6:30 pm CST. We still want celebrate with you even if it is remote! Visit this page if interested: https://www.zola.com/wedding/meganandkonrad2020/virtual/ZGV5Zmx3At

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend semi-formal for the evening. Please also plan to bring a mask with you to wear at all events. For those watching the livestream at home instead, feel free to dress up as well, but pajamas are also welcome!

Question

What will the guest capacity be for the wedding events?

Answer

We will be at less than 30% guest capacity for all venues for safety reasons.

Question

If I received my invite in the mail, when should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP online via the RSVP tab on the website before November 4th; that page is now available as formal invitations have been sent out. Please enter your last name in the search to find and submit your RSVP. We encourage you to RSVP as soon as possible to give us an idea of headcount. As always, your health and safety are our top priority, and we completely understand if you're no longer able to attend. Please just let us know as soon as possible. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we did have to reduce our guest list. Please note, this has already been communicated out if it pertains to you and we have mailed out a card to invite you to attend the Zoom live stream instead. Thank you so much for understanding.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, complimentary parking will be available at both venues. We do encourage people in the same household to drive together.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Please note, transportation will not be provided in order to allow people to distance due to safety precautions. Complimentary parking is available at both the ceremony and the reception.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, then no. We ask that you please refrain from bringing any additional guests due to COVID and social distancing guidelines. If you received a formal invitation, please limit attendance to those who will be specifically listed on the formal invitation that were sent out. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Anything else I should know about COVID? What should I do before the wedding to be safe?

Answer

We take COVID seriously and want everyone to be safe who comes to our wedding. We are doing our part to follow safety precautions at the wedding. Please also do your part to take note of any symptoms you may be experiencing and take your temperature in the morning before the wedding, just in case. We also recommend distancing as much as possible in the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding as you are able and following all safety precautions recommended at this time. If you don't feel comfortable coming to the wedding or aren't able to come, we understand completely. If you are planning to come but start to experience any COVID-related symptoms such as fever, chills, shortness of breath/difficult breathing, loss of taste or smell, nausea or vomiting, etc., please plan to stay home. Make sure to update your RSVP and let Megan or Konrad know ASAP. Additionally, please plan to stay home and get the care you need if you think you may have been recently exposed to the virus.
