Question

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of parking if you plan to drive & you can leave your car overnight outside of Valhalla's green gate. Uber/Lyft also readily available. We will have a shuttle service picking guests up from Basecamp Tahoe South at 2:45 PM and 3:30 PM (please try to get on the 2:45 shuttles) and return trips from reception back to Basecamp at 8:00, 9:00, and 10:00 PM. PARKING IS LIMITED at Basecamp. Please plan to walk there if you are close by, or Uber/Lyft! You are also welcome to Uber/Lyft directly to Valhalla :)

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

Wedding attire is cocktail/semi-formal. (Dresses of any length, chic jumpsuits or blazers, suit and tie)

Question

Weather?

Answer

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be outside on the lawn near the lake. Dancing will be inside. Tahoe is warm during the day but does cool down in the evening. Typical June day ranges from low of 47 to high of 75 with sunset around 8:30 PM. A light jacket in the evening is recommended (unless you plan to stay warm dancing the night away of course).

Question

I have a dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please reach out to us with your request! Our caterer will provide you a separately plated meal to accommodate any dietary restriction! (Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, food allergy, etc.)

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we are requesting the ceremony and reception be for adults only. Kids are welcome to come to the Friday Welcome event and Sunday beach day!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and guest," then yes!

For all the days along the way
