When should I RSVP by?

What's the dress code?

Answer

Up to you! Look as nice as you'd like, but we also want everyone to be comfortable. Please note that the church does not have air conditioning, and then the reception will be outside so err on the side of wearing less! (Our house does have central air and will be open during the reception for relief from the elements.)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive around 10:30 am to give yourself enough time to get to the church, park in the parking lot behind the church, and make your way inside and to your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00 am, and the church has told us they won't let in latecomers!

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Crescent Ave Presbyterian Church has a parking lot behind it. Put the address "817 First Place, Plainfield, NJ" in your GPS to navigate to this lot. From this parking lot, there is a pathway that leads to the church. There is also street parking around the church.

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

You'll be able to find street parking near our house on Grandview Ave!

Things to Do in the Area?

If you are early to the ceremony, or if you're looking for something to do between the ceremony and reception (while photos are being taken), we recommend you visit our favorite area coffee shop - Queen City Coffee Roasters!
