Hello everyone! We booked rooms through this hotel. Please call and reference the Linderman wedding to book your room! More specific information listed below. Please read! Detailed information: We are so excited to celebrate with you all! Here is some pertinent information to ensure everyone arrives on time and prepared for our big day! We (unknowingly) booked our wedding for 09/02/23; which happens to be the season opener for Penn State Football vs their rival at home. Yikes! There is expected to be MASS amounts of traffic this day, so ensure that you allow a lot of time for travel, since we have been warned by our vendors that this little town is often full of traffic on game days. This also lead to blocking off hotel rooms to be rather difficult. The hotel listed above is by far the closest and most affordable option for hotels at this time due to the high demand for the football game. However they did give us particular guidelines that we need to follow. First of which required a two night stay minimum. You do not need to use these two nights (Friday and Saturday), however it may be beneficial to ensure your timely arrival. The two night minimum here, even if unused, is cheaper than a one night stay closer to State College. This hotel offers a complimentary breakfast, and has a restaurant/bar within. Next, we plan to have a shuttle service transporting guests between the hotel and venue (approximately 10 minutes apart). We want to ensure that our guests are able to feel safe celebrating with us to ensure everyone gets home safely. However, if you wish to drive yourself, you're more than welcome.
