The Spotted Owl (Tremont)

Speakeasy style cocktail bar located in a building dating back before the Civil War that used to house the Union Gospel Press. Spotted Owl is known for their Cocktail Wheel Experience in which their talented bartender customizes a cocktail to your mood and likes from their list of over 500 different selections.

Prosperity Social Club

The Clevelandest Bar in Cleveland serving old-world eastern European comfort food, beer, and mixed drinks. Chuck suggest the Ethnic Platter and Megan suggest the Shrimp and Grits.

Cleveland style BBQ from local renown chef Michael Symon. Chuck says to order everything!

Local small, family run brewery in downtown Cleveland. Serves lunch and dinner with farm fresh and seasonal menu and an intensely creative eye that punches well above regular "brewery" food.

Hoopples

Voted best dive bar in Cleveland with one of the best views in the city with its industrial panoramic of the river and Cleveland skyline backdrop. In addition to this bar, it gets all walks of life and is a great place to see the “real Cleveland”. You can probably find Sroka's there on any Friday or Saturday night.

Hotz Cafe Inc.

Legendary shot and a beer joint that has been open for 103-years. Hotz has served Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Lou Gehrig, FDR, and kicked out Meryl Streep and Robert De Niro. Don't forget your quarters to play shuffleboard! As John Hotz would say, "Cleveland bar. Love it or get the hell out!"

Rowley Inn

A neighborhood pub with great food, craft beers, reasonably priced drinks and fantastic people that has been open since 1906. It has a great brunch on the weekends!

Grumpy's Cafe

One of the best breakfast spots in Cleveland! Chuck suggests getting the Corned Beef Hash Omelet or the Blueberry Pancakes. Megan suggest ordering the Eggs Florentine.

West Side Market Café

This is one of our favorite brunch spots. The West Side Market Omelet is the best!

Rising Star Coffee Roasters

Megan's favorite coffee spot. There is a location downtown at 412 Superior Ave, Cleveland as well as in Hingetown (at the address above). This location in Hingetown is a cute walkable area with local shops and a ton of activity.

Mitchell's Ice Cream (Ohio City Kitchen & Shop)

A must stop to get the best ice cream! Chuck's favorites are Carmel Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, Peanut Butter Chocolate Pretzel Yogurt, and Black Raspberry Chocolate Chunk. You may even get to taste a few flavors at our wedding ;)

West Side Market

The West Side Market is the oldest operating indoor/outdoor market space in Cleveland with over 100 vendors offering meats, seafood, fruits, vegetables, baked goods, dairy, flowers, ready-to-eat foods, spices and nuts.

Edgewater Park

Edgewater Park is a great spot to check out Lake Erie, soak up the sun or go for a walk. You can grab a drink or a snack at the Beach House as well!

Whiskey Island/Wendy Park

Whiskey Island and Wendy Park is home to the old coast guard station, has a wonderful walking path right on the lake at the mouth of the river, and is a bit quieter than Edgewater Park. The Whiskey Island Distillery is a great spot to grab a drink outside and people watch right on the water!
