Megan and Ben met while attending undergraduate at University of Dayton. Second semester of sophomore year, they were both in a theatre sound design class together and slowly became friends from there. When Megan joined Ben at working in Boll Theatre, he helped show her the ropes of working with the other Monkeys. As their friendship evolved, so did their feelings for each other. During the summer before their junior year, Ben asked Megan on a date, which they did soon after move in. Who doesn't love mini golf? They dated the rest of college and the rest is history!

Ben and Megan went over to their friends Nick and Kellie's for a fun Memorial Day hangout! The group went outside to play CanJam (a game like corn-hole but with a frisbee and a plastic can) for a couple hours. Afterwards, when they were packing up to go back inside to get some dinner, Ben dropped down onto his knee and asked her to marry him. It was a surprise to everyone and Megan was totally shocked! She couldn't believe it and, after a few "Are you serious?!", she said yes!
