FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the ceremony at least 30 minutes to an hour before the scheduled time on your invitation! This will give you enough time to walk to the ceremony area and find a seat before it begins.

Question

Are you cancelling/rescheduling due to Covid-19?

Answer

We will not be cancelling or rescheduling the wedding. We are constantly talking with our venue and monitoring the Covid-19 trends to see if we will need to make a change to our final guest list. If we need to reduce our guest list count to meet safety recommendations, we will notify those impacted guest as soon as possible. Our anticipated guest list complies with the current CDC guidelines for Louisiana and this venue. We will continue to update this portion of the website as more guidelines are available, but we are optimistic conditions will continue to improve by this fall! Also, we ask that if you are feeling unwell the day of the wedding, to please stay home.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Sunday best or formal casual. If you wear jeans please wear a nice shirt! If you’re still not sure contact the bride at 318-581-7195.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes we are registered! See our registry tab to find the registry links. They are Amazon, Target, Walmart, and Zola.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! An officer will be on site to direct vehicles to parking spaces.

Question

Can I bring a date or guests not noted on my invitation?

Answer

We addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This just means that we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well we’ve hired a professional photographer to capture some of the most important moments in our lives, and we’d hate to have a well-meaning person’s phone/device blocking that moment for her to capture. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.
