As a freshman and sophomore in high school, Megan and MJ took a chance on a double-date to The Amazing Spiderman 2 movie. 9 years and lots of growth and love later, it is easy to say they will never miss a Spiderman movie again. The past 9 years have been full of laughter, adventure, and God's unfailing love. Megan and MJ are filled with gratitude for their family and friends who have played a vital part in supporting them throughout their journey from high school sweethearts to marriage!

What started off as a normal day of going to the gym and golfing turned into the best day yet! MJ was as cool as a cucumber, and Megan was her normal nosy, asking a million questions self. We got ready for "7pm dinner reservations at Finch and Fifth". MJ steamed Megan's dress for an absurd amount of time until it was perfect, and then he got dressed in a new shirt and new shoes. That's when Megan knew maybe something was up but she didn't want to get too excited. When they drove past Finch and Fifth at approx. 7:03pm, Megan knew the dinner reservations were nonexistent. "Let's go get a drink first", MJ said as he continued down Walton Way to the Partridge Inn. Megan was asking where they were going, which was quickly answered with "Megan, don't get excited it's not a big deal", which made Megan sad she had gotten her hopes up. 10 minutes and an elevator snafu later, Megan and MJ were standing hand and hand on the balcony of room 525 of the Partridge Inn. Absolutely every detail was perfect, down to Megan's perfect execution of her shuffle pass of her purse out of the way to avoid it being in any pictures. The night ended with a BBQ celebration with family. We could not have asked for a more perfect, intimate engagement to begin our forever together.
