Kara and Sam met while they were both working on the Freedom Trail. In September 2018, Kara won tickets to a concert in a radio giveaway, the perfect excuse to spend time with the cute guy she'd been getting to know throughout the summer. Sam and Kara secretly admired each other because they were too nervous to express their feelings. Typical. After the concert, Kara invited Sam to go see "Bohemian Rhapsody." He did not pick up on her subtle hints that he should hold her hand. Sam then invited Kara to Trident Booksellers & Cafe. Kara asked Corri, the Maid of Honor, if that sounded like a date. Corri said, "Don't read too much into it." Kara missed the moment when Sam leaned in to kiss her. This comedy of errors continued for another six months. On June 29, 2019, they finally had their first kiss on Long Wharf. Less than a week later, they went to the rehearsal for the Boston Pops' Fourth of July concert on July 3, and as they walked through the Boston Common, Kara said, "What is this?" And the rest, as they say, is history.
