What is the attire?

Answer

This event is semi-formal. Suits and cocktail dresses are appreciated. Please keep in mind that our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors so please plan and dress accordingly.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we adore all of your children, this is an adult-only event. This if for the safety of everyone and also so parents can use this time to relax and celebrate with us! So please, take the night off and enjoy the evening with us!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. proceed down the brick pathway from the parking area and into the welcoming building where you will find hot apple cider while you wait and mingle.

Will parking be available?

Answer

Yes! There is free parking on site. Drive down the long stone entry and parking will be on the right. Please note that this is a closed and private event. In the event that someone leaves the event, there will be no re-admittance unless previously discussed with the coordinator.

Is it 'okay' to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We ask that you PLEASE refrain from using any cell phones, iPads, cameras or any recording devices of any kind during our ceremony unless you are seated in the back. We have an amazing photographer that will be capturing our special day and any visible devices you have will show up in our photographs. We would like to keep everyone in the moment during the ceremony. This is very important to us, so please be respectful and try to keep everything away and on silent until after we say "I Do"! After the ceremony you are welcome to take photos at our cocktail hour and reception (tag us on social media with #meetthehochfeldens).

What is the menu for the reception?

Answer

There will be plenty of food options including snacks while you enjoy the cocktail hour. The reception will be set up as a series of stations so you can easily pick and chose what delicious courses you would like to partake in. We are currently working directly with our caterer for specific food allergies and restrictions so please let us know if you do have any restriction and be aware of what you are eating at the event. The catering staff is very well aware of their menu and will be able to help with any questions you may have.

What time does the event end and what if we are not done partying?

Answer

Because our event takes place on a Sunday, the event has a hard stop at 9:00pm. Have no fear, there are plenty of hotels around and wherever you are staying, we will be happy to continue on! When the bride and groom have confirmed their accommodations, they will share that with the party so we can dance all night long!

What happens if there is inclement weather?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour is scheduled to take place outdoors - At the end of October - in Central PA. Please plan accordingly. In the event of inclement weather, The Farm at Eagles Ridge does offer and indoor ceremony space, but we are going to try to keep things outdoors! The reception itself will be held indoors and does have spill-out space onto a gorgeous patio where there will be a fire pit and yard games.
