The ceremony will begin at 5:15pm. Please allow yourself some extra time to park, find the venue, and take a seat. The venue is also hosting Brew Fest, so please expect traffic.
The bridesmaids will be wearing sage whereas the groomsmen will be wearing navy suits. Our dress code is cocktail attire. The ceremony will be held outdoors, with an indoor reception.
Google "McMenamins Edgefield" and head to the Blackberry Hall. Also, keep an eye out for signage once you arrive.
Parking at McMenamins Edgefield will be first come first serve. Please also take note that there are other hotel guests and events happening. Please plan ahead to arrive extra early to ensure there is time to find parking and get to the venue. Car pooling or Uber is also a great option!
No outside alcohol will be allowed at the venue. We will be providing beer, wine, and some cider. If you prefer hard alcohol or cocktails, there will be a distillery with a cash/card bar a short walk away. Please follow this as there will be security checking for outside alcohol.
Due to guest limitations, your invitation will state who from your party is invited.
As much as we love your little ones, this will be a kid-free wedding. Please plan ahead for childcare and enjoy the night!
No, pets will not be allowed at the ceremony or reception.

The ceremony will begin at 5:15 p.m., which will be followed by a cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. The venue will shut down for cleaning at 11:45 p.m. If you would like to keep the party going, the distillery on-site will stay open until 1 a.m.

We have a hotel block set up at McMenamins Edgefield as well as Best Western Cascade Inn & Suites. Please use the block name "Walther/Hanson Wedding" when you call to book the room. Rooms will fill up due to concerts and events, so please plan ahead. Note: McMenamins Edgefield's rooms do not have private bathrooms in the room. They share common bathrooms with other hotel guests, think dorm style.
