How far is the airport from the hotels?

The Charlotte Douglas International Airport is approx. 15 min from the Westin Charlotte and Hampton Inn. Hotel information can be found in travel section.

When should we get into Charlotte?
Answer
Our recommendation is for anyone in our immediate family or bridal party to arrive Thursday night or Friday morning. For those of you who are golfers and hiker enthusiasts, try getting in Thursday so you can have optimal time Friday.

Do we need to rent a car?
Answer
There will be shuttle transportation to and from the hotels for the wedding evening. More information can be found in the travel section on our website. If you are looking to do any activities slightly outside of the city you can grab a rental car at the airport or take the public transit which is attached to the Westin Charlotte.
