We're getting married!

Zach and Annie's love story began at the University of Arizona in Tucson, where they met through a school club called SOPHOS. From the very start, Annie had a major crush on Zach, but Zach was too busy juggling football and extracurriculars to notice. Fate had a funny way of stepping in after sophomore year when Annie and her best friend, Madeline (our officiant!!), decided to live together—and Zach became their surprise third roommate. What started as a friendship slowly turned into something more. Zach eventually realized he had feelings for Annie and confided in Madeline, who wisely advised him to proceed with caution. After months of thoughtful consideration, Zach finally made his move in July 2017, and the two began dating. They were seniors in college, living together, and navigating the ups and downs of a brand-new relationship. What could possibly go wrong? Surprisingly, it all went right! After graduating, Zach and Annie embarked on separate journeys, pursuing their dreams and embracing new opportunities. Despite the 3.5 years of long distance, their connection proved unbreakable. In February 2022, Annie made the move to San Francisco to join Zach. Through the challenges of distance, Zach’s whirlwind football lifestyle, and families living on opposite ends of the country, their love has only grown stronger. Now, Zach and Annie are thrilled to begin their greatest adventure yet—as husband and wife!
