Our Favorites in SLC

These are some of our favorite spots in Salt Lake City! Need to grab a bite? We've got you covered. Spilled some wine on your favorite shirt? Don't panic, there's a mall nearby! We hope you enjoy our favorite spots in Salt Lake City.

Ruths Diner

4160 Emigration Canyon Road, Emigration Canyon, UT 84108

A short drive up the canyon, this is one of our favorite breakfast spots in Utah. Tucked away in the mountain, it provides beautiful outdoor space with the best mile-high biscuits IN THE WORLD! Please plan for a long wait, trust us, it's worth it! The must-have: Mile-High Biscuits

Nostalgia Café

248 East 100 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

Fitting with the name, this is the coffee shop Mckenzie and Justin met! Treat yourself to a hot drink and sit outside at the table on the far right and picture a young Mckenzie and Justin sitting at that exact table while Mckenzie talked way too much about her brother and Justin just smiled and nodded. The must-have: Nutella and Banana Crepe

Eva's Bakery

155 South Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84101

A cute little french bakery on Main street, it was the spot Mckenzie told Justin she would miss most about Salt Lake after deciding to move to California. It's cozy, quaint, and the perfect spot to stop in for a quick bite or a baked treat. The must-have: Quiche Lorraine and Latte

Caputo's Market & Deli

314 West 300 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84101

Italian market and Deli in the heart of SLC. A hot spot for Mckenzie while working around the corner and Justins treat on campus at the University of Utah during his Ph.D. The must-have: The Old-School Sandwich

Beer Bar

161 East 200 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

One of the largest beer selections in Salt Lake City with long picnic tables, amazing food, and board games to enjoy with friends. Mckenzie will brag that she was a regular at one point, with a bartender knowing to grab her a "peanut butter stout" every Friday during happy hour. She never felt cooler. The must-have: Your favorite beer with Reuben Fries. Note: If you're lucky, you might run into the owner and actor, Ty Burrell behind the bar or next door at Bar X.

White Horse Spirits & Kitchen

325 South Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

Named after an old Mormon prophecy, this cocktail bar has some of the best food and drinks on the block. It's also conveniently located in the middle of one of the best night scene spots in the city. The must-have: Egg N' Chips and the Steak Sandwich

City Creek Center

50 South Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84101

Our go-to shopping in Salt Lake City but also beautiful scenery. Built by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, this mall I directly across from the Salt Lake City Temple and houses some shopping classics for when you realize you forgot to pack your cocktail attire and need an outfit FAST.
