Thomas and McKenna met the summer going into Thomas' senior year and McKenna's junior year of high school. Their first official date was in McKenna's parents basement watching Titanic as 16 and 17 year olds. The rest is history!

How We Met

Thomas proposed to McKenna September 16th 2020 at Rainbow Falls in CO. McKenna recently had moved to Colorado and her mom was in town visiting for the first time, 16 days after adopting Frankie. Thomas proposed at Rainbow Falls with just Thomas, McKenna, Holly (McKenna's mom) and Frankie present. He got down on one knee in the middle of McKenna's favorite waterfall in Colorado. Years prior to this Thomas gave McKenna a promise ring at the same location. It was the perfect engagement and the rest of the day was perfect too. They celebrated at their favorite restaurant with McKenna's mom and went to Downtown Aquarium in Denver the same day.
