Jared & I met the Summer of 2016. I was newly graduated from high school and Jared just finished his first year of college at Wayland Baptist. We were both living life and having fun, until one night, our friends Cory & Mayson brought us both to Comanche casino! (Which if you know us, you know that we are at Comanche quite frequently. So it is only fitting to us, that that is where we met!) It was love at first sight for one of us, and the other was still being dumb and young! Weeks passed on and we finally met up again, and the rest is history! I knew it was fate that we were supposed to be together, when realizing this boy I happened to fall in love with that summer, coincidentally went to a college 35 mins away from where I was headed in the fall for college. You can't tell me that God didn't set that up perfectly! We have been through a lot in our 5 1/2 years of being together, but I wouldn't change one piece of it for the world! We have grown up from teenagers to adults, and can't wait for what is to come!
What was supposed to be another typical weekend to Lubbock to be with our friends, turned out to be the best day of our lives so far! What I thought was supposed to be a brunch to kick off our weekend, turned out to be the dreamiest proposal! He had the help from two of my bestfriends, Kathryn and Kyla, to pull off the most perfect engagement! I should've known something was up, when the week before he asked me to take his jeans to the dry cleaners and wanted them extra starched, lol! I always thought I would've known when he was about to ask, since I plan everything for us, but it was the biggest surprise getting proposed to that day! We had a day full of celebrations with some of our favorite people in one of our favorite places!
