McKenna noticed the cutest basketball player wearing number 3 on Paint Valley’s team when she was at her brother’s game in 2014. She found out his name was Anthony McFadden. After the game, she told her mom, her mom told his aunt, then the aunt told his mom. Anthony slid into McKenna’s Instagram dms on Super Bowl Sunday, and the rest is history. Neither one knew that day would become their forever together.
It was like any other family vacation with Anthony’s family, well until Tuesday night. Lea, Anthony’s sister, and her friend Halle were going to dinner in Southport and invited McKenna to go with them that night. While at dinner, Lea decided they should go to the pier to take pictures during sunset since they got dressed up. Little did McKenna know, this was the plan the whole time. After dinner they made their way over to the pier and as they walked onto the beach, under the pier, Anthony walked out from behind a pier pillar and surprised McKenna. Anthony got down on his knee during sunset and asked McKenna to marry him. She Said Yes! Soon Anthony’s family gathered around and they finished taking pictures. It was a night they will remember forever.
