Megan Lord

Matron of Honor

Megan and I have been friends since middle school when Megan moved into Madison County schools. After high school graduation, our friendship has only grown stronger. I have watched Megan become a fabulous wife to her husband, Dylan, and I am so excited that she gets to be by my side as I become a wife. Megan is more like my sister than a friend. We share all news (good and bad), celebrate all of life's blessings together, and can go weeks without seeing each other only to catch up like we never stopped talking on our next lunch date. Megan is kind-hearted, selfless, and loyal. God knew if we had been born to the same parents, we would have been too hard to handle, so he made us non-biological sisters. I am estatic to introduce her as my matron of honor!

Natalie Hale

Bridesmaid

Natalie is the wife of Hayden's best friend, Josh. On the day I met Natalie, I knew we would be fast friends. We share a lot of great memories in the few years we have known each other - many game nights at their house, a great trip to Charleston, and so much more. Natalie was not only there when Hayden proposed to me, but she made sure that Hayden picked the perfect location and took the best pictures! I'm thankful that Josh made such a phenomenal pick as his wife because I know our friendship will last a lifetime. Josh and Natalie are some of our biggest supporters and are always there when we need them.

Brianna Morgan

Bridesmaid

Bri and I have been friends since our days at Ila Elementary School. She and I grew apart when she transferred to Athens Christian School during our high school years. However, God led us to cross paths again at Emmanuel College, where we were both studying Biology. Many late-night biochemistry study sessions later, we found ourselves as close friends and nursing school classmates at Augusta University. I wouldn't have made it through nursing school without this girl! She is truly one of a kind, so much fun, and always there when you need her.

Claire MacAllister

Bridesmaid

Claire and I have known each other the least amount of time - but it feels as if we have been friends forever. Claire and I became fast friends on our first clinical day of nursing school at Morgan Medical Center. Nervous doesn't begin to describe the emotions we were feeling on the first day of clinical, and we relied on each other to make it through. Claire never fails to answer my questions about faith to the best of her ability and always lifts me up if I'm feeling unworthy or overwhelmed. Even though Claire is always kind-hearted and encouraging, her sense of humor can light up a room and create the biggest belly laughs. I'm so excited to have Claire as a co-worker at St. Mary's and cannot wait to see where our friendship takes us in life!

Brandy Holden

Bridesmaid

Brandy is Hayden's sister - which works out since I have always wanted a sister of my own. I'm so thankful for Brandy and her insight into their childhood. She always has the best, most embarrassing stories of Hayden to share with me. But, y'all, it makes my heart smile every time Hayden talks to Brandy on the phone because it always ends with a "love you" in unison before they hang up. Last but definitely not least, Brandy is always down for coffee and donuts as long as there's a Dunkin' nearby - my kind of girl!

Josh Hale

Best Man

Who knew youth soccer would lead me to not one, but two of my closest friends? First, meet Josh. From soccer, to high school wrestling, to school, and to work at Arby's and Hibbett Sports - we ALWAYS have each other's back. Now that Josh met the love of his life, Natalie, they are one of our best sets of "couple friends" and we have spent some of the most fun nights at their house playing board games and Just Dance on the switch. I'm so thankful for Josh and what his friendship means to me. If I ever do something wild or crazy, there's a 99% chance Josh will be standing right beside me smiling and yelling, "That was fun!" That's what best friends are for, right?

Hunter Thomas

Groomsman

Hunter and I started off as two random kids who happen to have some friends in common. But, through many trips and events at school, we became closer and closer. The more we talked, the more I realized that Hunter was, and still is a darn good friend. Hunter, known to all the boys as Jose, has been a part of many fun memories. Whether it's hanging out with the guys or logging countless hours playing video games at home, Hunter is always there.

Trevor Payne

Groomsman

Trevor is also one of the original soccer friends. I met Trevor and Josh at the same time and realized - hey, both of these guys are pretty cool. Trevor and I have had plenty of laughs throughout the years, especially during high school wrestling season. When I started wrestling in high school, I was lucky enough to have two of my best friends, Josh and Trevor joining me. Since Trevor and I were in the same weight class, we got the honor of being one another's wrestling partner. We spent a lot of time on those wrestling mats practicing our next great move on each other before using it on our next opponent. Trevor has been a close friend since childhood and is the comedian of the group. Don't let his silence fool you, he's full of jokes.

Hunter Hale

Groomsman

Every friend group has that one little brother who always tags along with the boys. But, this little brother has become a great friend. Hunter (or Little Hunter as I call him) has turned into someone I can refer to as a brother, just like the other boys. Hunter is currently serving in the Navy and I am so proud of him for serving our country. I think it is awesome that the little brother of a best friend has truly become one of the boys.

Kevin Holden

Groomsman

Ummm.... I think this is where I'm supposed to say something nice about Kevin. He's alright I guess. No, there's way more to say than just that. Kevin is my brother-in-law, married to my big sister Brandy. I was still in high school when Kevin became a part of the family and I am so proud that he is. Kevin is a veteran, who served in the Marines, and I am thankful for his service to our country. He has embraced my crazy family, as McKayla is about to do as well. One thing I know for sure - Kevin, you're going down in our next go-kart race!

Mason & Wade Holden

Ring Bearer

These boys have had my heart since the day I met them. Mason, the oldest, loves to learn and is the biggest helper whenever there's an outdoor project to tackle at the Black household. Wade, the younger of the two, helped me make the most epic obstacle course with sidewalk chalk one time. These boys are cool. Actually, they're the coolest. And, they always give me hugs when I see them - which makes my heart crumble into a thousand pieces. Thanks Brandy and Kevin for giving Hayden and I the best nephews in the whole wide world.

John Max & Piper Parham

Ring Bearer / Flower Girl

John Max and Piper are super sweet siblings and children of my cousins, Kip and EdithAnn Parham. John Max loves animals and is always looking to learn about farming from any and all men in my family. He's a ball of energy, but he is brilliant and so creative when it comes to playing with his toys! Piper is the youngest of my cousins - she will be a few months shy of 2 years old on wedding day! She is a complete joy and such a perfect edition to the Parham family. She almost always has a smile on her face, especially when she sees her daddy! Being a daddy's girl must run in the family. I am so excited to have these two accompany me down the aisle on our big day!
