What is the attire?

Answer

Semi-Formal/dressy casual! We want everyone to dress up. Although, this is a backyard (outside) Maine wedding so keep that in mind.

Places to stay?

Answer

We want everyone to have a good time and indulge as much or as little as they choose! Abbot is a smaller town with limited lodging so instead - there is plenty of room on the property to pitch a tent or bring a camper so that you can stay the night right at the venue itself!

Will there be food/drinks?

Answer

We are supplying a specialty shot as well as a limited drinks for cocktail hour but all other reception drinks are BYOB. For food, we will have a buffet and burger bar. We will also have desserts! We are hoping this gives a little something for everyone.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st. This gives us a little over 1 month to finalize seating plans and food plans. If you don't RSVP before then you are in charge of your own food and chair!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is a kid free wedding. As much as we love the little beans in our life we want the adults to have a date night away to enjoy this day with us.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We hope guests (especially if they plan to set up their overnight lodging) will arrive between 2:30-3 please plan to make time to park, set up any overnight accommodations if needed, and find a seat for the ceremony by 3:20. This way the officiant can give some housekeeping reminders and begin promptly at 3:30.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a small registry as there aren’t many things we need. Your presence at our wedding is enough of a gift, but if you wish to buy us something, we would greatly appreciate a contribution toward our honeymoon that we will be taking at a later date. Thank you for being a part of our special day!
