Like two ships passing in the night, we grew up on intersecting streets in Wilmette, went to four of the same schools, had friends/family in common, and worked in the same building in Chicago after college... but our lives didn't intersect until Black Friday 2021, when we went on our first date at The Charleston in Bucktown. Every year on that day, we go back to The Charleston and try to find where we carved our initials into one of the tables!
