We met in the fitness world, became friends that told each other everything, and then quickly realized that the connection beyond friendship was undeniable. We began to open up our minds and hearts to more than a friendship, and everything fell into place so easily like it had always been meant to be. From the second we made our relationship "official" to the day I said "YES!" we have been through so much happiness and success, but also defeat and obstacles along the way. We remained side by side through it all, lifting each other up and supporting one another just as we will as we open the door to our future as a married couple! We can each truly say that we are marrying our best friend, and we both can not wait to create a future and family together!
It all started out as a normal day (in my mind) by my best friend taking me to get my nails done on a Saturday morning. While we are getting our nails done, she asks me if I wanted to have a triple date night in Tampa with our friends to see the Christmas lights. If anyone knows Jamie he is not a planner, and he loves his open weekends free of set plans! Even after him texting me and saying, "Sure baby, we can go" I still thought nothing was extremely out of the ordinary. My best friend clearly knew the plan, and actually had the ring in her purse nervously holding it all night until the question was popped! Speaking of the ring, funny thing is Jamie had bought the ring 24 hours prior to the proposal after the thought popping into his head on a random day, "I'm going to ask this girl to marry me." He picked the ring up the morning of the proposal. Back to the big night, while taking couples photos by the lights, my friend turned me away toward her to "fix my hair" and I turned around to see Jamie on one knee! To say this was the ultimate surprise is an understatement. I have never felt this surprised in my entire life. Jamie had planned the perfect night, and the perfect proposal.
